This a beautifully detailed porcelain infant baby with porcelain hands as head and cloth body.  I’m not exactly sure what she’s stuffed with, maybe rice or filler beads but it has a grainy type of feel to it.  The face is hand painted with painted eyes in brown and a gloss is applied over it to make it look more realistic.  She has a small amount of blonde mohair under her bonnet.  Lots of lace and ribbon on this in a very pale pink and matching pink rosettes. Underneath she is wearing a white diaper closed with gold safety pins.  She is only 6” tall but her nightgown extends to a full 11” and is quite full.
