This beautiful doll was made as an artistic collaboration between Bbeauty Dolls and @DollMakersNotebook and is one of a kind.  This doll is made from a previously loved American Girl doll and repurposed to be loved once again.  
 
The Head:
 
The head is handpainted by @dollmakersnotebook featuring a purple and blue floral motif.  It has a scull like appearance with dark purple around the eyes, flower and shaped motifs.  The mouth has purple lipstick with scars coming out on each side and chin and forehead artistry.  The background of the face has been painted a smokey white to mimic the way make-up looks on a human face.  The face has been sealed with matte sealer to retain it's artistry.  The ears and neck are not painted. Her eyelids have been painted with little details.
 
The hair is our Willow wig in Black which has been hand braided.  Small white flower stems have been added in rows along her braids and a feather hair piece in the back (subject to availability). She has handmade earrings in silver green and purple faceted stones. Earring availability will change with each doll made)
 
Body:
The dress is inspired by modern day Catrinas who wear lavish ball gowns with their day of the dead makeup.  This ballgown is covered in embroidered dark flowers encompassing purple, green, and royal blue. It is made sleeveless with a motif at the front which is hand embellished with crystals.  Dress comes with a hoop skirt underneath to help it’s shape.flowers and vines and comes with a hoop skirt.  The bodice is fully lined in satin. A handmade black velvet choker ties around her neck with hanging purple gem.
Doll comes with black Mary Jane shoes from our shoe collections.
