This is an original design inspired by Patti Playpal's wardrobe which we lovingly call "Lemon Maid".
 
This party dress is made with an extra full skirt at a total of 90" circumference  with a 3.5" deep hem.  It's made of Lemon Print Cotton with yellow lemons and green lemon leaves attached to the stem and patterned on a white background.  The puffed sleeves are edged in white lace and it has a round collar also edged in the same lace.  There is a yellow bow tied at the center neck of the collar and two matching ribbons on the pinafore.  The dress snaps up the back with modern snaps sewn to make an invisible look.
 
The pinafore is made from a pin striped voile sheer in white and has been given a 4" deep blind hem at the bottom.  It has a full 90" circumference skirt that goes all the way around to the back.  The front and back bibs are sheer and are edged with hemmed flutter sleeves on either side and trimmed in white lace and yellow ribbons and bows.  This pinafore has waist ties that tie into a bow in the back all made from the same fabric.  The pinafore is light and airy delicate and pretty. The sheerness of it and the tiny pinstripes make it look out of the ordinary.
 
The lemon print gives it a country yet fresh feel that is perfect for display.  The sheer fabric is delicate and beautiful and makes it girly and frilly.
 
This ensemble is pictured over one of our nylon petticoats, sold separately.  Set will come with the dress and pinafore only.
 
Dresses will fit Patti Playpal herself and any Companion Dolls that have the same body measurements.  Thinner Companion Dolls may still be able to wear the collection as most pinafores tie at the waist and are loose fitting.
