This is a custom historical shoe designed by Bbeauty Designs and you won't find it anywhere else! This shoe has an elongated more oval shaped toe rather than the typical ballet flat you find for American Girl which is short and rounded. It is made of a patent leatherette (faux leather) and has a single thin strap that velcros closed (you do not have to feed through the buckle) Black hard soles.
This is the perfect addition as a dress shoe to most outfits historical or modern as well as a Wednesday Addams shoe.

Fit Notes: Because this shoe is designed to accommodate a variety of 18" doll feet, the velcro where you attach the buckle is made a little longer so that if you want to put it on a doll with thinner legs the strap can velcro tighter and on a thicker doll legs like American Girl, it can be placed more at the front. This means than on the fatter legs, there may be excess velcro showing when the shoe is on. This is more noticable on the black pair because the velcro is white than on the white pair.

Great Mary Janes. I love the more oval shape in the front. They are very well made, with a beautiful shine. I like to use them for Samantha, Nelly and Molly instead of the plastic Mary Janes they got with their meet outfit. You can put socks, or tights no problem. As the description says, the Velcro does show when you put them on an AG doll. But I used a black Sharpie and totally colored the scratchy Velcro. It did the trick, now, nothing shows! :-)
These shoes are so adorable! I love the style! They are very well made.
