When we created this year's holiday dolls, we wanted each one to be worthy of a collector cabinet but also have enough inspiration as it's own holiday decor. Miss Christmas is no exception and if she could stand like an angel on top of a Christmas Tree she certainly would.
Miss Christmas's dress has a lovely poinsetta motif with repeating patterns in black green, and various shades of red. There are gold dots all over the dress to bring in a little bit of shine to the print. Her dress is based off a vintage pattern that has been the theme of our holiday dolls this year as they provide skirts with tons of ruffles and charm. The dress is made from printed Christmas cotton with a fully lined bodice and a 3/4 skirt covered in four rows of pleated ruffles. The dress is not floor length so you do see the shoes. Under the dress is a hoop skirt to keep the dress's shape and is included with the doll.
We wanted to give Miss Christmas some extras so she has been given holiday gold leaf and bow earrings with a drop green crystal bead dangling from her sweet ears. She's also been given a Christmas crown which is a rustic wreath shape with pine needles, miniature pinecones, red berries, and rustic metal star shapes embedded.
Miss Christmas has been transformed from a fully restored Jess doll with clean body and limbs, has been tightened, and given an artist faceup by @dollmakersnotebook. Her face has been given a light blush, natural eyebrows, glossy detailed lips, and extra painted eyelashes to compliment her dark brown eyes. She's been given a beautiful dark brown wig with lighter brown detailed strands with a natural sewn part and flowing wave that hits around the waistline in length. Miss Christmas comes with red bow shoes to finish off her look. Miss Christmas comes with red flats with rhinestone and gold buckles.
Miss Christmas is a one of a kind art doll made for this season's holidays and will come as shown with doll, dress, shoes, hoop skirt, crown, and earrings. Miss Christmas will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap with hair net in a long shipping box so that she is fully laying down and protected for opening by her new owner.
