This involves dolls who have individual rooted hair where the hair has become damaged or deemed not fixable and you've decided to use a wig on the doll in the future (i.e. not having the doll's hair re-rooted which is a more expensive restoration service). In this case all the hair rooted in the doll's head would be removed so that a wig can be glued to the head permanently.
