This is an absolutely adorable set for Steampunk enthusiasts.  The top hat is made of sturdy construction with a hard base and covered in black microfiber.  It is edged around the brim with the same black microfiber as a bias binding to finish the edge.  It is decorated with black tulle that starts as a band around the hat and then continues to the back into a bow.  The upper part of the hat is decorated with a black lace band that is more towards the top of the hat and then has silver sprockets, chain, and a clock face with roman numerals on a pendant like medallion at the front. Each hat comes with black and brown feathers that form a cluster at the side.
 
The mini goggles are the best part of this set.  Made of plastic with tinted lenses, they are attached on a black elastic band that goes around your doll's head.  The goggles can be worn on the face or you can also wear them on the hat as a decoration.  We pictured them on the doll's face so you could get an idea of scale and fit.
 
This hat and goggle set is universally sized and will fit most 18-19" dolls with similar head sizes from 10-12".  Depending on the thickness of the wig on your doll and the styling, the hat may rest on top of the doll's head or slide down.  The goggles are on an elastic band so they will also universally fit most doll heads in the 18" Doll Category such as Gotz Happy Kidz (shown), American Girl Dolls, Our Generation Dolls, Madame Alexander 18" dolls, etc.
